Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Credit Analysis, the incumbent is responsible for contributing to business development and profitability by identifying, analyzing, controlling and monitoring counterparty risks in credit applications and portfolio commitments.

As such, he/she will have to carry out the following main activities and tasks:

Main activities / tasks :

  • Ensure that credit applications are properly processed in accordance with predefined checklists (legal files, financial statements, business and operating forecasts, proposed collateral, etc.);
  • Prepare file analysis and validate credit proposals from the business units, and submit them to line management for approval;
  • Guarantee the reliability of information, the relevance of analysis and the correct assessment of risk coverage;
  • Ensure compliance with the credit manual when assessing credit risk;
  • Be able to study the company’s financial situation in depth (risk assessment, analysis of strengths and weaknesses, analysis of accounts, etc.) in order to evaluate their solvency and profitability;
  • Issue credit recommendations, proposing appropriate conditions in terms of interest rates, credit lines, duration and guarantees;
  • Draw up and distribute internal credit notifications, and archive credit files both electronically and physically;
  • Draw up minutes of committee meetings, carry out sector studies and prepare files eligible for the classification agreement mechanism;
  • Transmit credit files to the relevant parties (guarantee management) for the constitution of guarantees and the implementation of credits;
  • Participate in the review of procedures, methods and tools for measuring, assessing and managing risk;
  • Prepare files for submission to the Board of Directors.

Profile :

  • BAC +4/5; Ecole de Commerce, Banque, Finance, Comptabilité, Droit des Affaires, Gestion et/ou Diplômé ITB;
  • At least 05 years’ experience in the credit field in a financial or banking institution.
