GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and optimizing maintenance activities to ensure the availability, reliability, safety, and performance of the company’s facilities and equipment. He or she will lead the technical team and ensure the effective implementation of maintenance policies.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The Head of Maintenance reports directly to the General Manager.
• Management of General Services
– Supervise operational teams and manage general services (building maintenance, fire safety systems, access rights, etc.)
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Site and Equipment Operations
– Ensure the proper functioning of buildings and technical installations;
– Perform first-level maintenance: inspection and repair of lighting, plumbing, air conditioning, doors and windows, furniture, etc.;
– Respond promptly to breakdowns, replace defective parts, or perform repairs;
– Ensure periodic maintenance of technical systems;
– Oversee work performed by outside contractors for more specialized tasks;
– Prepare and submit monthly technical reports by the 5th of the following month;
– Propose improvements to facilities;
– Participate in budget preparation;
– Organize and supervise storage of tools, supplies, and miscellaneous equipment;
– Develop dashboards for monitoring and analyzing technical operations,
• Regulatory Compliance
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
– Organize regulatory inspections,
– Monitor technological and regulatory developments regarding facilities and buildings
• Contractor management
– Identify needs and develop service specifications,
– Manage requests for proposals,
– Monitor service contracts
• Tenant and/or Owner Management
– Manage and ensure the safety of people and property within buildings,
– Listen to tenants to identify technical issues and keep them informed of the progress of corrective actions implemented;
– Supervise and/or monitor renovation work carried out by tenants;
– Identify, initiate, and supervise preparatory work for the move-in of new tenants and/or owners;
– Contribute to the search for new tenants for the buildings. In particular, supervise visits by prospective tenants by addressing their technical concerns;
DESIRED PROFILE
Education
– Minimum two-year degree in Construction or equivalent
Experience
– Demonstrate a minimum of four years of experience in a similar position,
